Well its taken a little bit of kerfuffeling and figuring out, but I'm so happy to say that the Cathouse Garden Fairy Kits are here, and ready to go to new homes. Each kit contains precut chicken wire pieces and everything you need to create a 12" wire fairy. This is a nice little intro to working with wire and usually takes under 2 hours. Enjoy!

Getting ready for next weekends show ART AT THE CATHOUSE

Just finished my first Garden Fairy afternoon classes on the weekend. 32 fairies were made altogether - all with their own characters and personalities. Thanks to all of you who came for an enjoyable couple of hours and thanks to the weather guys for providing the perfect outdoor climate. Stay tuned for future classes and kits.

Next event at the Cathouse. Really looking forward to an outdoor covid conscious show in the front field and the sculpture garden.

I held my first Covid sculpture class. 3 people, all given a 7 table to work on. Social distancing ruled. The results were... large. ;-)

I always love to see the photos from students that have taken the wire workshops to see where they have mounted them. The last 3 pics (fish, seagull, and scary... seagull) were done by Bev Allen after she had completed 2 workshops (her octopus and black bear) and gone home to create her own designs. See more

The CATHOUSE GALLERY will be OPEN for the long weekend, Sat, Sun, Mon. 10am to 4pm. Contact surfaces will be disinfected and social distancing will be maintained. Five intrepid participants braved the snow to come to the weekend wire workshop. They produced a couple of firsts. A raccoon a poodle a deer a raven and the bear. Great weekend you guys really enjoyed it.
