Its time to let all our friends, family and clients know that we have decided to close our salon Cathy and Company as of November 30th 2019. We are merging with... another salon in town ( Relax with Us Salon )579 Main Street Kingston. and you can call 902 242 4400 to make an appointment. Myself Cathy Turner and Frank Dobbin will be working independently at Relax with Us and welcome all our clients to follow us. We will be turning the location where Cathy and Co is now into two 2 bedroom apartments, and room for another. Unfortunately not everyone chooses to follow me to our new locations. I would very much like to thank all the service providers who have helped give us a team to offer all the spa services, Thankyou to Patti Keddy who is the funniest most creative nail tech. I may ever have the opportunity to work with, Tanya Sabean who is a little gem as a nail tech. mom, and quite a business woman, Lyndsay Fahe who is going to be a star hairdresser as she is already good and she has just begun her career, Im glad to have been able to be part of your start in your career.. It has come to my attention that rumours are spreading like a fire out of control. I would like to share exactly what is happening.... My family and myself and with the excellent advice from my accountant and because the 2050 initiative that is allowing us to have more rentals on our property , we decided we have to look at our future plans and plan better to have passive income in our retirement. I am merging with Relax with Us Salon in Kingston and putting 2 more apartments... in the place where Cathy and Company Hair Studio is now. It has been a very difficult decision but with Heavy heart and a few tears we will be closing the existing salon. I thank Amy Hudson as she was very willing to make room for every service provider that works independently at my salon. Unfortunately not everyone chooses to follow. Our massage therapist Frank Dobbin and myself will be moving to the new location. I will keep everyone informed of when this will all take place. I am looking forward to my new chapter in my life with positive happy people and creating beautiful hairstyles for all my clients.
