Good morning! I think it's really important that Covid19 has pushed certain issues to the fore.... food security, poverty and homelessness, violence against women and children, by men, in homes. I heard someone say that this virus was created due to our cruelty to animals,,, keeping them locked in cages in markets. This may be so. Let's keep a focus on these important issues of humanity and integrity after the lock-down!!

Heja students! If you want to receive the CESB Canada Emergency Student Benefit and you have never before filed income tax, you need to call 1-800-959-8281 to register. Feel the deliciosity of socialized human care!!!

Montreal-Nord activist Will Prosper has pointed out that now, finally, Quebec is relying on the skills and experience of newcomer workers, some who we still deny citizenship and access to medical care. These are the people who are caring for Quebec's elders in the shoddily-run seniors' care homes, putting their lives at risk. We need to nationalize elder care across Canada, making it a part of medicare. One reason Montreal is #7 on the list of covid19-related deaths is due to 'for profit' elder care homes and the lack of oversight. Shout out to the workers who have not abandonned the elderly during this crisis!! Now, let's join together to give our elders the care they deserve in this country!
