SESSION 1 of season 2020-2021 " Toddler Creative Dance and Movement" Ages 19 months to 3 years Starts: Oct 17th. Finishes: November 7th - Saturday's Cost: $4...5 plus GST (For the 4 week session) Time: 1:00 to 1:30pm Must register online to reserve your spot. Class sizes are being kept very small. Cancelation: To cancel attending this session, You must cancel 72 hours before first class starts for for refund. No refunds are made at any other time. There are many good reason's to encourage toddlers to dance. Simply listening to music helps toddlers think and express themselves more creatively. Dancing helps children to develop movement control, coordination, rhythm, and strength. Children will learn travelling motions such as walking to a beat, sliding and jumping and movements like twisting, bobbing, bending, jumping, hopping and twirling! Dance uses different muscles than simply standing and walking. Through dance, children will learn to coordinate and control their bodies and learn their spatial awareness of the room and other's. Adults are to attend class with their little ones. Why? Because a young child at toddler age, learns better from copying an adult who they care for and trust. And what a beautiful way to spend time together bond through creative dance and movement. The adults will be instructed of what to do for each creative movement task and ideas of how to do it with their little one through out the 30 minute dance class session. We will have fun dancing and making sounds with different sound makers together in class such as egg shakers, drums, tambourines and more! These props will help promote each Childs learning development of rhythm. Class runs for 4 x week sessions at a time, for 30 mins per session. We are limiting our classes to 6 registrations for session. Please register online to reserve your spots Important: Please arrive a few mins before class starts so we can begin on time. When arriving please hand sanitize in our front lobby with sanitizer that is provided. Please wear a mask in our lobby areas. Wearing a mask in class is optional. Please be aware of others personal 2 meter space when in class when moving around the room. Clothing: Wear socks or dance slippers. No shoes endless it is a dance shoe. No bare feet please. Wear comfortable easy to move in clothing. Dancers are of course encouraged to wear what ever clothing makes them feel special, comfortable and makes them feel they want to move and dance .
