The hunger issues throughout Central America have not diminished. As Rotarians @rotarycluboakvilletrafalgar we continue to send support to Honduras and Guatemala through our Hunger Relief Program. The woman in this first photo wanted to sell a handful of vegetables but instead, our aid partner Kathy in Honduras, provided her with this bag of food. When she saw the food she threw her hands up into the sky thanking God. Then with tears in her eyes she thanked Kath...y and asked her to thank the people who made this food possible. The woman admitted her house was completely empty of food. Making an impact on the lives of those in need is a goal of Rotarians around the world. It is stories like these that fuel the fire in us to do more! Rotary Clubs depend on fundraising to support local and international causes.
