Here's why to do the "under" roll for toilet paper.
All dressed up with nowhere to go!
Best wishes for 2021! We hope you stay safe in this last stretch of the pandemic. We will be closed until the end of the provice-wide lockdown as pet sitters are not considered essential in this particular lockdown. Shazam and Leo are happy, of course, that we are at home with them.
Merry Christmas everyone! I hope your cats bothered to get up and try out their new toys this morning. We're going to have to wait until ours are truly awake at around 3pm.
We are re-opening June 3!!!! You can now book visits for your furry family members for June 3 and later. There will be some changes to our policies regarding covid precautions that we'll send out to clients next week. Shazam, Leo and Barrington ventured outside to their clubhouse and are practicing social distancing. We look forward to seeing some of our kitty friends again soon!
About a penguin, not cats, but I think cat lovers will love this incredible story.
It's all happened before - including the funny cat photos. 1918-1920 Flu Pandemic. https://i.redd.it/pqw5sht23ho41.jpg
Happy Easter and Passover! Hope you're getting extra cat cuddles during this time.
Our boys, (right to left) Shazam and Leo plus their friend that never leaves, Barrington, would like to let you know that we are all staying at home. Cat's Pyjamas is closed until people start going away again. Please make an emergency plan in case you need to go to hospital. The usual protocol would be to ask a family member, friend or neighbour if they could check in on your cats in the event of an emergency. However if you are sick, they might be reluctant to enter your h...ome. Set up a web cam so your emergency person can check on your cats remotely. This will lessen the amount of time someone would have to enter your home, if at all. Leave lots of food and water for the cats and an extra litter box or two. Ask your emergency contact to check the webcam feed a few times each day and monitor how your cats and their supplies are doing. They would only have to enter if food or water runs out or they see something that needs to be attended to. Summary of some simple steps to be prepared: - Keep lots of kibble on hand even if your cats usually eat wet food. Large bowls of kibble or a large gravity dispenser can be left out for cats to eat over a long period of time. A large auto kibble dispenser could also be used for gorging cats, however it would have to be monitored to be sure it is working and does not lose power. - Have lots of LARGE water bowls ready. Water is the most important resource. - Set-up a web camera so your cats can be monitored by your emergency person from a remote location. - Get an extra litter box and lots of extra litter. - Arrange for a back-up in case your emergency person suddenly becomes unavailable. All our best during these difficult times, Raisa & Mitch
