In her own words, meet Mridul. Our new counsellor here at CAVE. Mridul’s journey in the field started as a clinical psychologist in India working at a leading psychiatric and mental wellness organization as well as the Cosmos Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences. Since coming to Canada, she has applied herself working as a behavioural consultant, administering neuro-psychological assessments and practicing CBT and EMDR therapy. Introducing our new Counsellor here at CAVE, Mridul Jagota. Trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, & Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing Therapy. My ability to be empathetic and sensitive towards others’ needs helps me to make a strong and good relationship with my clients. I believe that counselling is about having a good therapeutic alliance above and beyond the counselling techniques and strategies. I try to provide my clients a safe and comfortable environment for sharing. I prefer to have an eclectic approach in my sessions, ensuring that the treatment plan is well tailored to the clients needs. Mridul takes individual sessions for anxiety disorders, mood disorder, trauma, stress management, anger management, relationship difficulties, couples therapy and family therapy.
