The new season is just around the corner and Cawston Cold Storage Ltd. is looking for packers, graders, box stackers and forklift operator. Cawston Cold Storage Ltd. is an organic packinghouse in the Similkameen Valley. We pack soft fruit (apricots, peaches, nectarines etc.), pears and apples. We receive organic fruit from over 30 different growers. The fruit is packed and shipped to different distributors across the country, the USA and as far away as Hong Kong and Taiwan, a...ll under labelling for Nature’s First Fruits. We need people who are physically and mentally capable of standing for hours doing repetitive motions. We want people who are team players and willing to work in a multi-cultural environment. These are seasonal full-time positions- 8 hour days, 5 days a week (Mon-Fri 8am 4:45pm), usually from August until the end of April. Starting wage is $14.25. Benefits to follow include paid personal time, paid bereavement time etc. If you think that you would be an ideal candidate and interested in a challenging position, please come to the Production Office or email [email protected] for an application.
