We had some awesome runs at the Run For The Wild and VIP slot race this weekend in Kamloops. First go we got a 18.4 10th in the 4D Second go we got a 18.2 16th... in the 3D for the Run For The Wild. Its the time of year where we are starting to get our ponies ready for the season ! With the time change and it staying light out longer I am opening my 6pm appointments again. Message me to book ! $60 for body work and $80 for lights and body work.

I have been seeing huge improvements when finishing body work sessions with light therapy. Muscle recovery time is faster, no more soreness or tenderness over the muscles. Helps with infections, and calming! Asking Duncan for instance, he has had two sinus surgeries and we have worked hard to keep the infection away by using the blue light over the sinus area. Not only that, he is a anxious horse so we use the red over the calming meridians to keep the nerves away during competition season.

Keep your horses stomach full. Especially before you ask him to work! Why? Because the horses stomach has been designed to always be full. Horses secrete str...ong hydrochloric acid in the lower section of their stomach. So the lower section was smart enough to protect itself with thick mucus. That way the acid doesnt burn the flesh. BUT, the top part of the stomach is totally unprotected from the acid. It was protected only by the fact the horses stomach was always full of fibre. This fibre was able to stop the acid from the lower part of the stomach from splashing to the top part. This mare came to my client over weight and with some pulling back issues at the trailer. After being with her for a couple months she dropped lots of weight and was "stressed" You see this in quite a few horses that go through change.
