Join us tomorrow at Grosvenor Park United Church for our first meeting after the holiday break!

We met for our last meeting of 2020 Wednesday evening with the theme "Big, Hairy Audacious Goal (BHAG)" and the word of the day "Reminisce". We started off with a fun, new, Zoom-style game led by Chao to get us out of our chairs. U-Shane taught us about some positive approaches to success that he has been implementing in his life, then led us in an open discussion about things that have stood out for us so far in the Toastmasters year. Finally, we watched a TED talk about how... to accomplish ambitious goals and then had a discussion about what we liked and what we thought could be improved in the talk. It was an educational and enjoyable activity that I am sure we will be doing again in the future. We will not be meeting again until Jan. 6 at the church, where the theme will be "Humble beginnings" and the word of the day will be "Modest". I am excited to see you in the new year!
