Craft Brews of the Columbia Basin Film Competition 08.11.2020

Cranbrook's screening is complete. Thanks to Fisher Peak and The Heid Out Restaurant and Brewhouse for hosting such a great event. The Cranbrook 'Growler' audience choice award goes to Chad Ruby of the House Rubenstein for his Star Trek romp honouring Cranbrook's finest Scottish Ale brewed from, you guessed it, Fisher Peak. Dieter, that speed reviewing madman took runner-up. And the masked vigilante/hero tasked to save us from bland beer, The Torchlighter, from Karl Nygren... took third. Only two more to go, and they're back to back. Join Angry Hen Brewing at The Langham on Nov. 28th, where the CBCB reel will proceed an excellent line-up of ski entertainment hosted by Stellar Heliskiing. https://www.facebook.com/events/1169489186588715/ One day later you can join Mt. Begbie Brewing Co. at Roxy Theatre Revelstoke on Nov. 29th for the finale. Being the final screening all will be revealed, who takes the Golden Growler and who will be anointed in oils, and cash money, by the Jury; Thomas Middleditch, Sarah Kapoor, Ken Beattie, Julia Chalifoux and Meghan Tabor. So that all can be privy to the big moment, we will be live-streaming the final event right here on Facebook Live. You'll have to supply the beer. https://www.facebook.com/events/1005801926458794/ I lift my stein in cheers of all the participating breweries; Torchlight Brewing Co., Backroads Brewing Company, Nelson Brewing Company, Angry Hen Brewing, Trail Beer Refinery Taproom, Rossland Beer Company, Fernie Brewing Company, Whitetooth Brewing Company, Mt. Begbie Brewing Co. and Fisher Peak.
