Important financial news for those affected by COVID-19 Canada's six largest banks announced plans to provide financial relief to Canadians impacted by the economic consequences of COVID-19," "Effective immediately, Bank of Montreal, CIBC, National Bank of Canada, RBC Royal Bank, Scotiabank and TD Bank have made a commitment to work with personal and small business banking customers on a case-by-case basis to provide flexible solutions to help them manage through challenges ...such as pay disruption due to COVID-19; childcare disruption due to school closures; or those facing illness from COVID-19." The support will include "up to a six-month payment deferral for mortgages," according to the banks. Any individual or business experiencing "hardship" is encouraged to contact their bank directly "to discuss options that could be available to them."

In response to the current COVID- 19 pandemic and to minimize exposure, CBIG is temporarily closing all offices to the public effective Tuesday March 17, 2020. 'Tis the season for giving! Last week Sheralyn was able to stop by AWAC; An Association Advocating for Women and Community to drop off some donations that the CBIG team rounded up this month. Thank you to all staff, friends, and family who were able to donate to this amazing organization!

Its beginning to look a lot like Christmas! Were ready to celebrate the holiday season at CBIG. The office is decorated, the snow is falling and we couldn't be more excited!

The CBIG team was in full support of #plaidday today. This awesome initiative by Downtown PG promotes shopping locally in the amazing businesses Prince George has to offer!

Today some of our staff were able to attend the Prince George Chamber of Commerce luncheon at the Spirit of the North Healthcare Foundation Festival of Trees! We heard from an inspirational RBC Athlete and enjoyed an amazing meal. If you haven't already, go check out the awesome trees on display!
