It was wonderful to celebrate Kabbalat Shabbat in our backyard. Songs and Prayers led by Rabbi Schachar Orenstein from Montreal who was accompanied by our own Simon on violin. 15 family and individual bubbles enjoyed their own picnics and challahs baked by members Susan and Debbie. Thank you, David, for the logistics and the generous donations of all Board members who sponsored the Rabbi. The highlight was a baby naming! First time for most of us hearing the Shofar this year. We should have warned the neighbours!! Join us for more community gatherings coming up in New Year. Rabbi Orenstein will be back, and we will be baking challah together.
