Virtual care / telehealth services have kept our clients safe while they receive treatment and care at home, but we have had clients tell us about other benefit...s they've experienced after they transitioned from in-clinic sessions. This week’s 'Connected Care Story' looks at how a client was able to refocus his treatments on functional restoration rather than pain management. https://www.cbi.ca/connectedcare-functional-restoration See more

Mental health and well-being is a core pillar of CBI Health’s integrated approach to healthcare. It is important to have open, honest conversations about mental... health, and to start these conversations early. To help with these conversations about mental health in youth, we are proud to support Buddy Check for Jesse, a program that encourages coaches to talk with their teams about ending the stigmas surrounding mental health. This year the program has expanded to include all coached sports, all-year-round, all across the country. While some sports are currently on hold due to the pandemic, if you know a youth in organized sports, please make their coach and/or manager aware of this program. You can find conversation guides and support materials as a free download on their website: https://bit.ly/2HLHknp

CBI Health continues to support clients across Canada throughout the pandemic, when and where they need it most. A new client was referred to us after suffering... from anxiety after a car accident, which increased even more after experiencing social isolation when the pandemic hit. After transitioning from in-person treatment to virtual care, our team worked with her to navigate her feelings, encouraging her to write down her thoughts in between sessions. This acted as a new creative lens for her to express herself in a meaningful way and enabled her to better manage her anxiety. Read the story: https://www.cbi.ca/en/connected-covidpoem

CBI Health is a proudly Canadian company. For Canada Day 2020, we reflect on our country’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic and our future with a distinctly ...humble sense of Canadian pride and optimism. The pandemic has affected every one of us. It has become a generationally defining period in our history and we are only at the beginning of this story. However, it has been heartening to see how the Canadian people have responded to this crisis. From coast to coast, there have been countless heartwarming stories of kindness, of neighbours helping neighbours, and a vast outpouring of support and love for frontline workers of all types. This is a defining moment for the world, for our country, and for each one of us. We should all appreciate the contribution our sacrifices have made to the greater good, and not let our commitment fade as we enter into a new phase. On Canada Day, and all days, we are proud to be Canadian. Read the full message from our CEO: http://ow.ly/ulEb30qV5Hb #CanadaDay #CanadaDay2020 #CanadaStrong

After thorough consultation with our local public health we have made the unfortunate decision to cancel Get Wild 2020. Although we are disappointed that we must cancel camp, we are hopeful that in doing our part we can help decrease the spread of Covid-19 and keep our campers and community healthy. Follow both L'Ecole Des Petits and CBI Health Group - Saskatchewan for special Get Wild activities the week of August 10 -14. We encourage you to get outdoors and take in all ...that our backyards, parks and forests have to offer. We thank all of you for your support. For those that had already registered refunds were mailed out to you today. From all of us at GetWild we hope you have a great summer getting wild in your own way and we can’t wait to see you all next Summer at Get Wild 2021.
