This one started out adding 16" making the blade 8'6" wide. It turned into a re-fab of great brackets just installed wrong. & Yes both hydraulic cylinders are bent because of it. Thanks for the opportunity Tracy @ Sainte Famille Winery!

Picked up a "B" train repair job from my buddy Kevin down at National Energy. Strip down 2 aluminum tanker trailers, plasma cut off the old cracked bulkheads on both, grind all the old welds off, fit up and weld in the new upgraded bulkheads with my occasional partner in crime Dan, The Modern Blacksmith.
A mower ramp replacement for Parks & Rec. Complete with drain holes, and brace locks.
I got to patch up a nice aluminium boat for a friend sunday, a couple roller wear marks and corrosion repair.
Just finished a 36"x60" aluminium ramp for a friend's box trailer, with a lil tig help from Dan themodernblacksmith. The frame was made with recycled load bars capped with a new piece of 1/8" checker. Its mounted to the floor on custom hinges, with a 5/8" lock pin for transport and it should be good for 1000lb capacity. Turned out awsome!!
A job I did for Nautel in Hackets cove in 2016. An incerted riser to cap the deteriorating brick sewage pumping station. Completely installed with a ladder, sealing & lockable lid. It took 3 5'x10' sheets of 1/4" aluminium!
It's been a busy week so far! Fabricated a sub frame under the existing rotted frame with 1"x 2" 3/16" channel, tied into the pole. Gussets for strength, new springs, hangers, Ubolt kit & Rockguarded! Looks Awsome!! Happy costomer!!
Just a rant! Working on my miller bobcat in between jobs over the last couple weeks. It's a V twin 25hp. Replacing one leaky head gasket, going to do both anyway. So im 5hrs into the job and I remove the heads. 3 out of 4 head allighnment dowels (2 per side) are folded down and crushed into the aluminium heads there is also some damage on block. I call the dealer in Mississauga, sent pictures to him. They say it was done after it left the assembly line.... the only thing i...t ever had was motor mounts and starter He did however get the "OK" from Kohler to send me 4 new dowels. Wahoo. 3.00 worth of parts. The head gasket kits alone totalled 126.50 and broken bolts in the heads to remove took me 3 hours. Check your welders over good whyle the warrenty's still valid! See more
