From the mountains to the sea, adventure awaits you on Cape Breton Island. And on the 6th day of Awesome Instagrammers We are looking back to last August when... Katie Goldie Photography took us all on her amazing adventures around the Island! As a travel photographer & blogger, Katie loves the outdoors and seeks natural beauty every second she gets. This wasn’t hard for her to find by the looks of these stunning images she captured. Moonlit snowshoeing, festivals, snowmobile rallies, warm Ceilidhs, and more make Cape Breton the place to be this winter.

#DYK #DidYouKnow that the Bras d’Or Lake is one of the world’s largest saltwater tidal lakes! It may be called a lake, but this is really Canada’s very own inl...and sea. A mecca for sailors , this UNESCO world biosphere site with its tranquil waters fringed by deep-forested hills is a paradise for adventurers and cultural experiences. Keep an eye out for bald eagles! Many of the majestic birds call the Bras d’Or lake home and can be seen soaring the skies above or diving in for supper. What a dreamy shot by @adamlangleyns ! #VisitCapeBreton #VisitNovaScotia
