Ok, so squash in CBS is back! Updated: Senior League starts with a limited night this week. Courts open for public booking on Friday via 834-6500 ext 602. The Junior program will launch on Tuesday. Existing members should already have an email. Please check your junk email if not received. ... We and the Town, working with various national, provincial, sports, Public Health, and OHS bodies have modified procedures including capacity limits to do as much as reasonably possible to ensure safe play. New potential players are being waitlisted while we try and accommodate returning players and/or until we can reasonably modify capacity requirements. Comment, message, or email [email protected] for more info. Look forward to welcoming all players back to the courts, and hopefully we'll soon have room for a few new ones!

Covid update: We have been going back and forth with the Town of CBS on reopening plans for the past few weeks. The Town has announced the Rec Complex is reopening on September 18th. We are working with the Town and others to resume junior and senior squash programming as soon as practically possible. Squash Canada Return to Play guidelines, Squash NL guidelines, Town OHS requirements, insurance requirements, and the Province's Stage 2 guidance are all in the mix, amongst oth...ers. It is not straight forward, however we are optimistic we'll be back on court soon :) Right now we anticipate season start the week of September 21. Based on the calls, emails, and texts received, we know many are very eager to get back on court. So are we! For juniors or junior parents, an email to [email protected] or comment to this post indicating interest in playing this year would be helpful in our group planning. Thanks, and more details to come.
-CBS Recreation Complex Update- After a thorough review of the Alert Level 2 guidelines and requirements, and based on current operating conditions of the CBS R...ecreation Complex, the Town of Conception Bay South has announced that the facility will remain closed at this time for the safety of employees and patrons. Given that this is the season when our pool is least utilized, and will therefore have the least impact on pool users, we are going to keep the facility closed while we continue to monitor COVID-19 developments within the province and within similar facilities. We continue to support the efforts of the federal and provincial governments and take measure that will control the spread of COVID-19. Council would like to thank residents for their patience and understanding as we navigate through the pandemic together, said Mayor Terry French. As with all COVID-19 related decisions, the Town continues to monitor the situation and accepts guidance from the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador on safety measures and decisions. The Town is monitoring operations daily and will provide another update on the CBS Recreation Complex in the coming months. Please continue to visit www.conceptionbaysouth.ca/covid to stay up-to-date on Town services.

Thanks Jeff Tulk and everyone else who had a part in the tournament and for doing your best to let us continue on.
Schedule notification for the upcoming Provincials was sent by email this afternoon via Club Locker. Please check your junk email if not received and/or have your junior check their email as applicable! Thanks, and look forward to a great tournament. Due to the courts in use for the Provincials there will be no junior or Canada Games practices this weekend.
