Happy New Year everyone! As we get into the swing of the new semester, we are looking forward to the exciting global health-related events on campus this term! Conducting Ethical and Effective Global Health Research: A review of guiding principles and approaches is a virtual seminar, happening on January 20th from 12:30 - 1:30 pm EST and features Dr. Colleen Davison, a PhD trained Social Epidemiologist and Population Health Researcher at Queen’s. Lisa is our chapter’s Events Director, and has some fun and exciting global-health themed events in the works for next semester! Lisa is in her 4th year of Global Development Studies and Biology. Her interests in global health are varied and evolving, but she has always been interested by how healthcare systems in low- and middle-income countries work, and how they may disadvantage certain populations.
