A letter from Father David to the parish: Hi everyone, As you will have likely heard, beginning Monday (November 23rd), Toronto will need to follow more strict regulations to prevent the spread of Covid-19 including no public services of worship any larger than 10 people. Although officially we could have In Person Worship this Sunday we have felt it wise and proper for abundance of care that we cancel this Sunday's service.... I am sad to not be able to worship in person as it has been so good to worship together . However, the far more important good is the protection of people's health and to do our part in slowing the spread of the virus. So we feel we should start sooner than later with this ministry.. We also look forward to once again being able to join together when the rules may safely be relaxed. I want to thank the Parish Corporation , the organizing team and implementation team and everyone who has worked so very hard to make sure that our In Person Worship has been safe. A lot of planning , cleaning and supervising has required much time and effort. Thank you to everyone for complying with the protocols during worship and finally thank you to those who have helped to lead worship each week. I also want to thank our Audio/ Visual team that made it possible to live stream the worship. and of course now more than ever I am thankful for their tireless efforts to produce our worship videos which we will continue to use in our praise and prayer as a Christian family. Details will be in tomorrow's Plugged In email. I invite you to continue to pray for each other, for the city, province, country and the world as we move through this pandemic remembering that nothing can separate us from the Love of God which in Christ Jesus our Lord. The Men of CCSJ were delighted to create and deliver 40 meals to the residents and staff at the Keele Correctional Community Center yesterday: Homemade cabbage rolls, KD, oranges, wagon wheels and girl guide cookies. We give thanks for the chaplaincy program at the Keele. It is our privilege to be able to continue to provide support to encourage the excellent ministry of hope to the men inside.

Today it was our joy to deliver 41 rain ponchos, 240+ pairs of thermal socks, & 48 polar fleece blankets to help The Dale make life a little brighter for the men and women they lovingly care for. CCSJ gives God thanks for Erinn, Joanna and Olivia with The Dale Ministries. See www.thedale.org.
