Thought we would try our first treasure hunt today! Everyone had a blast, some tweaking on the ribbons and numbering for next time, and there will be a next time lol. We have a fairly big area to cover so lots of places to hide stuff!. It was off and on breezy, good training day they told me! Love, love having fun days like this. Thanks to all that came and participated and made it great.

Thank you to everyone who came out on Saturday to Lumsden to celebrate our annual Scare Crow festival. There were so many amazing examples of community spirit, with all of the exhibits. Even though Covid changed how we celebrated, it didn't dampen the fun! We thank all of the folks who voted for our exhibit, the John Deere Tractor with Pearl and Pete on board. We were up against lots of wonderful competitors. We are so happy to see all of the excitement. We had a blast building our exhibit and we are thrilled you like it. CC Stables!

Yesterday was the most amazing day for us at CC Stables. We did our first of many Bomb proofing clinics! Thank you's to Vanessa and Marie France and Stephanie for helping set up. Pat for contributing some of the wonderful props. It was a huge family day at the barn for all of us and topped off with a delicious lunch supplied by Marie France and a BBQ at the end to wind down with. All of the horses faced the challenges of the course and only one who of the obstacles (the water feature) was the biggest hurdle for the horses. We have so many pictures and will post them in the coming days. But thank you to everyone who came and had a great day. Even the weather didn't stop us, the wind helped with the ribbons and curtain arch! We will definitely be doing this again and again!!

Holy smokes it's windy today! Want to do my spring cleaning on the corrals but not happening today. Looking forward to getting my Christmas present , the Infamous poop picker working! Did a trial run a couple weeks ago, it worked great. Will make the cleaning of orrals much easier to maintain. As most who know me, I am anal about poop lol, so this was the perfect gift!
