INCREASE THE INTENSITY OF YOUR WORKOUT BY SLOWING DOWN One of the easiest ways to increase the intensity or difficulty of an exercise is to add time under tension throughout each rep. For example; my rep tempo during this set of high point rows was a 2 second row (concentric), a 3 seconds hold at the optimal contraction point (90 degrees here) and then a 2 second eccentric as let the cable release upwards. ... Increased time under tension can help; - Increase Muscle Mass - Strength Development This principle can be applied to many exercises with similar benefits.

Workout Highlight Here @paulinafitness_ is demonstrating a Single Leg Banded Hip Thrust; targeting her Glutes and Hamstrings. For this set Paulina is performing 4 Reps and holding the last rep at the top of the motion for 10 seconds in an isometric hold.... You can always perform this exercise by it self but I prefer to add it to my programs in 3 different ways. 1 SUPERSET AFTER BARBELL HIP THRUSTS - The main way I use this exercise is as a superset after a set of heavy Barbell Hip Thrusts 2BURNOUT - This exercise is a great way to burnout your glutes and hamstrings at the end of a workout 3WITH SPLIT SQUATS - The last way I like to use this exercise is to pair it with a split Squat. This Targets all the primary muscles in the legs and allows for a quick and effective lower body workout Message me If you have any questions or inquires into: - PERSONAL 1 on 1 TRAINING -ONLINE DISTANCE TRAINING -GROUP TRAINING Try it or Save it for later

Judo Push Ups Shoulders can be a challenging body part to train with simply your body weight but Judo Push Ups are a great option. Judo Push Ups are a full body exercise but they focus on your shoulders as you lower your body and then work your rear deltoids as come up from the bottom of the movement. If you’ve never done these before start with sets of 6-8 to get started and increase your reps as you become stronger and more comfortable with the movement.... Try them out and let me know how I can help you reach your fitness goals during this quarantine See more
