Some info regarding chrome books and mifi devices for students who are temporarily doing online schooling due to the shutdown. This does not pertain to those who are registered for remote learning for the entire year.

Today, the Ontario Government announced that elementary schools will remain in a remote learning model until January 22, 2021 inclusive. This is now the same da...te as our secondary school remote learning period. The RCDSB is making immediate preparations for the deployment of digital devices where required for our elementary students, including Chromebooks and a limited allotment of Mifi devices. Please find more details in the statement provided below.

We understand that there will be an announcement this afternoon from the Ontario government and/or provincial public health that will clarify and potentially re...vise the return date of elementary students next week. In the absence of knowing what the announcement may be, we are nonetheless taking steps to ensure we are ready to support your child. We promise to keep you updated as we learn more.
