Here is the second video on Stationary left turn

CDT 02.10.2020

I mentioned a few days ago that I was thinking of starting another Facebook group to post some videos for training at home. There will be a monthly fee for access to the group, which is $40. There will be two videos per week and supporting documents for those topics that might need more detail. Documents will be sent via email. Obviously I ask that you not share the videos with anyone outside the group. I have two videos ready to go, one is attached to this post and I will ...post the other in a second post. This will give you a chance to see what the videos will be like and decide if you would like to buy a membership. I will obviously answer questions about each topic, but if you want me to watch/comment on video of your own dog I would ask that you do this privately and we can discuss a fee for video/lesson review. I completely understand that these are crazy times, if you are interested but are concerned about the fee, please contact me privately. The first two videos are stationary left turn and motivating finishes. Moving forward My plan is to cover the following topics -how to start go outs -how to start articles These two topics will be progressive, maybe the first three steps and then I will give you some time to train the steps and then post the next two or three steps the following week. change of positions Rally master signs, I’ve picked four More finish work Fronts I am also open to suggestions If you are interested, the next step is send me an Etransfer for $40 to my email [email protected] or if you would like to pay by credit card, I can call you and do that over the phone. Once I receive your payment I will send an invitation to the group. The name of the group is CDT cabin fevr. The group will start on April 01. Enjoy and I look forward to your comments Marie

Do you suffer from ring nerves? We have a workshop for that. "Train Your Brain" is offered once or twice a year and the next workshop is this Saturday (Sept 14th). You do not need a dog for this workshop and the method can apply to any dog sport you do, obedience, rally, field, tracking or agility. You can message me via Facebook or email [email protected] is you would like to attend. Pre-registration is required

Some fun searches for Scent Detection Classes today, three other searches were out of sight. We even did an exterior search! Not bad for February. The March schedule will be published soon and we are expanding our Scent Detection classes. You should try this fun new CKC sport.

We are hosting a Try It Day on April 07. From 8:30 - 10:30 we are doing "introduction to Scent Detection". You need to pre-register for this part of the day as spots are limited. At 10:45 we will be doing a CDT version of Utility, Open and Novice Rally - beginning with Utility. Here is a preview of the courses. We have done this often at classes over the years and the dogs (and handler's) really enjoy it. No pre-registration is required for the rally part of the day. Hope to see you there.
