Mr. Mousseau and Mr. Dykstra broke up the school week on Wednesday with some celebration of learning. In Humanities, the Juniors played a Jeopardy game created by a student to go with their culmination of their Novel Study. In Math, students practiced their Cartesian skills by playing Battleship.

Got a load of top soil this week to fill up some depleted and eroded garden beds. The senior tides students flexed their muscles and made short work of the pile of dirt.

Some highlights from September. Here’s both Senior Tides & Junior Tides looking very engaged in a microscope lab. Then we took advantage of the dry weather and have been outside in the gardens working on getting them back into shape.

In just two days of school the TIDES students were able to flex their gardening skills and help transform one of our two gardens sites into a useable education space once again. I wish I took before pictures. Some of the overgrown plants were 5-6 feet tall. It makes me very excited to be back at school.
