Top Characteristics of High-Quality Kitchen Cabinets 1. All-Plywood Cabinets Ceara Kitchens offer all Maple plywood cabinets. All of our cabinet materials have been tested and certified. You can be confident that your new cabinets will stand up to everyday use. Moreover, they won’t expand and flake when there’s the occasional leaky faucet. ... 2. Quality Cabinet Boxes The integrated brace construction creates a quality cabinet box. This increases stability during shipping and installation and provides long-term cabinet strength. Our cabinets feature I-beams - essential to creating a sturdier box. I-beams add stability during shipping and installation and provide long-term cabinet strength. 3. Durable, Full-Height Back Panel For strength and ease of installation, our kitchen cabinets have a durable, full-height back panel. 4. Dovetail Drawer Box Construction The bottom of the drawer must support the weight of the drawer contents. That is why we choose to use hardwood drawer boxes with dovetail joints as they have become the standard for Canadian cabinetry. This is due to the long-lasting strength, durability, and beauty of the dovetail joint. 5. Soft-Close Door Hinges All of Ceara Kitchens cabinets have soft-close door hinges. This means they have been tested to withstand 65 pounds of weight and operated through 25,000 open and close cycles. Our cabinets feature Blum Movento soft-close hinges. They are 6-way adjustable, concealed, nickel plated steel, with a 107 degree opening. We also provide a limited lifetime warranty on all door hinges. 6. Soft-Close Drawer Glides All of Ceara Kitchens cabinets feature Blum brand full-access, soft-close steel undermount guides. The glide is concealed beneath the drawer box supporting up to 100 lbs. The glide uses a dampening system that is almost silent when opening and closing your drawer. We also provide a limited lifetime warranty on drawer glides. 7. Toekick Our toekick is fully enclosed and we use Maple Plywood for our high-quality cabinets. Take the first step towards your dream kitchen. We’ll connect you with a personal designer to make your project a reality!

We love a crisp white kitchen! Now- time to stock those cabinets with baking goods for the holiday?.. and maybe, some decor? How would you decorate your sparkling white kitchen?

Don’t worry if you don’t have a holiday-ready kitchen yet. We’ve put together 10 top tips to make sure your kitchen is up to the task! 1. Throw out expired food A holiday-ready kitchen means starting out with a fresh slate. Old food takes up precious real estate and mold can transfer-yuck! Cull the spoiled food and make a clean break!... 2. Ah, tradition! A holiday-ready kitchen is a lean one. Free up some workspace so you can roll out that dough! Tuck away any appliances off your countertops. 3. Organize cookware, storage containers and find those lids! It’s a wonderful feeling when you’re cooking and know where everything is. No searching and rearranging the kitchen. 4. Out with the old, in with the new While you’re taking inventory anyway, why not take the opportunity to sort through it in terms of what you really need. If you have appliances you barely use, why not donate them? That way you can keep your clean, minimalist kitchen even after the holidays. 5. Clean oven and dishwasher Just like your refrigerator and cabinets, you want to start with a fresh slate. Plus the smell of burning isn’t the aroma your guests came for when you said you were making cookies! 6. Be sharp Have your knives all set for when you’ll need them by sharpening them now. 7. Back to basics A great holiday-ready kitchen is a well-stocked one. Make a list now so that you don’t have to make multiple trips to the store. 8. Devise a meal plan A truly holiday-ready kitchen is stocked with food. By devising a meal plan you won’t have to run to the grocery store and you won’t end up with wasted food. A win-win in our book! What recipes are you excited to (re)try? 9. Spice rack inventory Check expiration dates and make sure to pick up spices you might use more of- like nutmeg and ginger. Start making a grocery list! 10. Holiday Spirit A holiday-ready kitchen isn’t ready until it’s filled with cheer! Add holiday cheer to your kitchen with a wreath and decor (if you don’t have a sneaky pet ). The holidays will be here before you know it. Good luck and have fun preparing your holiday-ready kitchen (oh, and cookies too)! Happy Holidays from all of us at Ceara Kitchens!

Stain vs. Paint finish. Not sure which one you prefer? Here’s the scoop on both finishes. Paint Offers a Clean Aesthetic Not all roads lead to a crisp kitchen design, but painted cabinetry is one that does. The classic all-white kitchen, for example, wouldn’t be what it is without gleaming white cabinets. However, all paint colors whites and creams to grays and blues bring a sleek, clean finish to the table.... Stain Showcases More Wood Features Stain strikes a good balance between color and texture. This is a definitive plus for many homeowners. Unlike paint, stain doesn’t steal the spotlight from your wood’s natural character. Since it’s thinner than paint, it seeps into the surface, which can enhance the natural beauty of your wood. You’ll definitely be able to admire the wood’s distinctive features. In this design we used both; white lacquer, and a natural stain finish to create a trendy contemporary vibe! Which do you love most.. painted cabinets, stained cabinets, or a combination? Let us know below!
