Robin Tinani Recommends Winterreise by Schubert - to watch anytime! Franz Schubert composed Winterreise (Winter Journey) in the last few months of his life, which was also the most productive time of his life. The 24 songs are set to poems by Wilhelm Müller, and find Schubert steeped in despair through the isolation of winter. I hope that this stunning performance of tenor Ian Bostridge in 2016 will bring some warmth & connection to each of you!
