CEDAR COTTAGE COMMUNITY GARDEN is gardening but respecting the COVID-19 pandemic guidelines. Guide for Safe Community Gardening COVID-19's primary transmission is through close contact with an infected person, or vapour droplets that an infected person exhales, coughs, or sneezes. Please following this guide for safe gardening in our community garden: - Be cautious and proactive: Do not assume everyone else has followed this guide.... - Do not come to the garden if you are ill or have the symptoms of COVID-19. - Social distancing: maintain at least 6’ between yourself and other gardeners. - Wash your hands, often! - Always wear your own garden gloves while in the garden - All equipment in the garden (tools, shed padlock, water taps, nozzles, etc.) are shared. Exercise abundant caution if using shared equipment. Please use sanitizing wipes to thoroughly wipe down anything you touch before AND after use. - All garden events and in-person meetups are cancelled/not permitted until further notice. - Garden members are encouraged to meet online for social gathering and learning.
