Our talented friends over at VICE design and fabrication are building us a state of the art hops dryer for this season. The drying of hops is actually one of the most important steps in processing. We plan to have our drying completely dialled in this year. Go give VICE design and fabrication a fallow on Facebook and Instagram.

It's that time of year again!! . Cedar valley hops is looking for workers, to help with the stringing and training of hops. We can keep about 6 people working full time right now for 2 weeks. If there are any hard workers out there not afraid to get there hands dirty give us a call. $12hr , were flexible with hours. But we are looking for full time workers right now. Last day of harvest was today, and it was a good day. Approx 240lbs of Galena

Freezer is filling up fast!!!!

Our biggest yield yet, approx 200lbs of Nugget

Fist time using our big Bailer,it can do 200lb bails!!! . Works great. We cant keep ahead of the hops coming off the field and doing the small packages so for now we plan to make the big bails and repackage later with our new bailer being built right now that dose 5lb packages.

The new freezer. hops in vid are stock left over from last years harvest and is still available. Hopefully the rest of the space will mostly be filled after this years harvest.

After the hops are taken off the field and ran through our harvester, they are dried then packaged.
