Upcoming talk at Laurentian University on Thursday, Nov. 26, 2015, at 5pm: "Engendering Animals" Dr. Letitia Meynell -- Associate Professor and Philosopher of Science at Dalhousie University -- will discuss how mis-attributions of gender to non-human animals lead to biased research results in the Biological and Social Sciences. Dr. Meynell is a CEEEC Associate, working with the team on a variety of projects concerning the relationship between human and non-human animals. This event is part of the Humanities M.A. Speakers' Series as part of its 3-year theme "Humanities and the Sciences".
