Hi all!! As we are coming into the most dangerous time of year for cell phones, here are some things to remember if your phone gets wet... 1. If its on, turn it off immediately.... 2. If the phone has a removable battery, take it out. 3. Do NOT put the phone in rice, this can actually harm your phone more than help it. 4. Remove as much water with a dry cloth or paper towel as possible. 5. Bring it in to a repair center and ask them to perform an ultrasonic cleaning on it right away. Do NOT try to charge or turn on the phone until it has gone through the cleaning process, most damage occurs because of these two things. Hope everyone has a great rest of your week!!!!

OK. We receive a HUGE amount of people coming in and asking why some repair places cost more, some cost less. Here are the main reasons. 1. Part availability. Some places constantly purchase product and make sure they have the most current and best price pieces in stock. Some places stockpile and can most often have paid more so they know they have availability at all times. 2. Quality of parts. Just like anything, there can be a huge array of quality in the parts. Don't... be fooled. Even though they look similar, there can be a big difference from on part to the next. Make sure your shop is reputable. 3. Some shops deal with what is called "splitting" a screen. In essence the LCD and the digitizer (glass) are heated and then a wire is drug between the two pieces to remove the piece that may be broken. Although this is a very common practice, it is in our belief that you are drastically degrading the parts when you do a repair this way. Although much cheaper. Not the way to go. Remember.
