Slight online booking update: To prevent people who are not current clients from booking online, you will now see a "Request to Book" button. Everything else remains the same, however I will need to manually approve each appointment booked. For current clients, appointments should never be denied (unless I made a mistake with my schedule). I will try my best to approve each appointment within a short period of time. This will mean more work for me, but keeps it relatively simply for you!

I will be out of office until September 22, 2020-- COVID stay-cation because everyone needs a break sometimes! I will be leaving my work phone behind and will not be checking emails until I return! Leave a message, send a text or an email if you have any enquiries while I am away and I will try to get back to you shortly after my stay-cation is over!

Remember you can always request to be put on the cancellation list however, this is not a guarantee. With kids back in school and more people back at the office, more people are becoming sick-- please respect the protocols set in place which may differ from business to business-- if you are or anyone in your household is sick or anyone in your family/household is awaiting the results of a COVID-19 test (even with isolating in different rooms under the same roof), please re-schedule! I will try and fit you in within a timely manner, but do not want to risk having to close down to ensure potential infections have not spread!

Please respect that fact that I am no longer accepting new clients from online bookings if I keep getting bookings from new clients through loopholes by booking regular appointments (without being directed to do so) I will need to change how I set up bookings and everyone will need to set up an account to book appointments (which I know people don’t want to do as we all already have way too many accounts to keep track of!). Happy Monday! Due to all of your continued support over the past 3 years, I have finally reached a point where I am unable to accept any new clients for the months of August and September. I will re-evaluate this towards then end of September, however in order to properly treat my current clients I can no longer accommodate new consultations. I will keep all currently scheduled initial consultations for those who have already received approval for your booking, however moving... forward I will no longer be taking new clients. You can reach out to be put on a cancellation list, however current clients also requesting sooner appointments will take priority. Thank you for your understanding and continued support! Once the post reopening craziness slows down, I will be happy to take on new clients once again! PS. Anyone I have ever treated over the past 3 years is still considered a current client so even if it's been a while, you are more than welcome to still book!

Good Morning! My cancellation list is getting quite long and extensive at this point-- I would highly recommend still booking for the next available appointment in order to not have to wait even longer to get in! Due to less travels, and less last minute workplace meetings, cancellations do not seem to be happening as much! I will still try my best to accommodate if an earlier appointment is requested, however please still book the next available spot (that appointment can always be cancelled if I am able to accommodate earlier!) Online bookings are back open and I will be back to work on Monday! Please note that bookings are limited due to new regulations. I have given those who have had appointments cancelled due to COVID first pick of appointments, so I have limited appointments left for June. There will be some changes and new requirements for appointments that I will give further details on later. Thank you all for the understanding over the past few months and thank you for your continued support-- I've missed you and am excited to start my third year of my practice on Monday! (I missed my anniversary on June 1st)

COVID Update: I unfortunately just received word that my order of PPE has not been shipped yet :( The company I have ordered from is looking into it and should ship it out right away, that being said unfortunately this means an even longer delay before I can re-open. My online booking system will remain closed until I know for sure when I will be re-opening. My apologies for the delay, however now more than ever: Safety first!

Hello! My office continues to remain closed and will be closed until all proper PPE is received. There is a major world-wide shortage for the PPE I require to safely re-open my office and am still waiting for updates. As you are aware, every business has different requirements based on risk, and unfortunately my requirements fall under the category of those in major shortage world-wide. Until then, my online bookings will remain closed. I will be reaching out to those who ha...ve had recent appointments cancelled, and those who have recently requested appointments when I have a better idea as to when I may open. Please keep in mind that when I do open, there will be major changes to the procedure, time of available appointments (for safety and security), and amount of appointments I will be able to accommodate due to increased sanitation requirements. I'm sure most of you have heard the soon to be easing of restrictions which means I will be re-opening soon! HOWEVER, the guidelines for PPE requirements are vague so I am looking into confirmation as to what it all truly means, and will also need to get the proper PPE before I can start seeing clients again (I don't want to show up looking like these guys if I don't have to!). For now I am keeping my online booking closed and will be in touch when I have it opened, along with the new guidelines that will be in effect.

It's been over 50 days since I've last been in my clinic doing what I love, however I am not mad about it as I am doing it to protect those that I love. In a world with so much unknown, all we can do is just keep moving forward one day at a time. That being said, I am getting some requests about appointments and re-opening and unfortunately, I still cannot confirm a date. Once restrictions are lightened, I still need to make sure I have all the proper equipment for safe treatment-- and those requirements have yet to be released. I am doing what I can to try and be prepared for that day to come, and even when it does the number of clients I will be able to see in a day, and the hours I will be working will be reduced for health and safety reasons. We are all in this together and I cannot wait until I am able to be back in the office.

It’s been 2 weeks since I’ve stopped seeing clients and it has taught me that I truly do love my job and miss treating those who need my services! Unfortunately, it is still unknown when I will be back in the office doing what I love, but I know by staying home I am keeping you and your loved ones safe! I have cancelled all clients this week and will keep re-assessing on a weekly basis based on the recommendations from the public health officer. Stay home, stay healthy and s...tay safe! To all clients, Due to the increased news and closures in the NWT, I've decided it is in all of our best interests to follow suit and close. All appointments from March 22nd to April 5th will be cancelled. After that, I will re-assess where things stand in regards to re-opening. This was not an easy decision to make, however in my heart I know it is the best one for all of us! I am going to take this time to work on some continuing ed to open with more skills than before! ... Stay happy and stay healthy!

One last post: For our own security, I will be limiting after hours appointments when no other businesses in the building will be running (after 5 pm and weekends). I will keep currently booked appointments as is, but moving forward bookings are blocked until classes are back in session and others are back to normal, this will be the case. I may have more daytime spots available than shown online-- text or email if times are not working for you!

It is hard to say at this point how much longer I will be keeping my doors open. If things change, I will let each and everyone of you know! Please note that I do not want you to feel bad if you are uncomfortable continuing appointments at this time. Even if you are parked out from and your gut says "I should be at home with my family"-- PLEASE DO, just send me an e-mail or a text! Especially if you live or work closely with elders, are immune compromised, etc. Cancellations ...fees are waived! I know this will be a hard time for everyone, especially small businesses but I do have a potential back up plan to continue servicing the public, or just do some continuing education to better serve you when I am back in business that I have been procrastinating, if I do end up shutting down temporarily. For the health and safety of others, please do not come into the clinic with any cold or flu-like symptoms. If you've recently traveled to a high risk country, please re-book for 14 days after being back from said Country. Even if it is last minute, please do your part in keeping this town as healthy as possible! I do have the right to refuse to treat anyone showing symptoms. It is inevitable with March Break travelers that there will be some corona-virus cases in Yellowknife. I have (and always have had) hand sanitizer (and wipes since there is no more sanitizer in the city) in the office-- please feel free to use! Stay Happy and Healthy!

I will try my best to accommodate the requests, however this is a feature to allow me to better manage my schedule and to better manage current clients (for current client benefit :) )!
