CEL and ITE York University Student Chapter had the opportunity to visit two of the stations that make up the Line 5 of the Toronto Subway Network. Currently under construction, students had the chance to learn about the different types of projects and the unique circumstances and opportunities that come with each of them. It was breathtaking and encouraging to see the amount of work that goes into a project of this magnitude: from extensive planning and calculations to exec...ution and project management all throughout. Furthermore, it provided an opportunity to visualize what it is taught in the classrooms and how it translates to the field.
