Thank you to all of the participants in the 2020 Centennial Mini Season. We worked hard to provide the teams and players with a little bit of normal during this crazy summer. Thank you to the umpires for your assistance also. We look forward to working on the 2021 season in the months to come and hopefully we will see everyone on the diamonds in the spring of 2021. Stay tuned for our new league website in the next few months outlining the details on the 2021 season.

Sad news today, a local Slo pitch Legend has left the playing field. Dan Evely aka Hacksaw passed away early this morning due to complications after surgery earlier this week. He will be sadly missed. RIP Hacksaw

Centennial Slo-Pitch Mini Season is looking for a Mens E calibre team to fill an open spot on Wednesday evenings starting on Wed, August 5. 8 weeks, double headers each week. 16 Games $1080 per team please email [email protected] for more information.

Centennial Slo-Pitch is pleased to announce that the 8 week mini season is slated to start on Monday, August 3. League information and Covid regulations are being provided to Team Reps this week and schedules are being finalized. Please get your gear together, and get ready to play some ball!

The Centennial League Executive is working on preparing a mini season to make available to our teams. Information on the plan has been sent to all 2019 Team Contacts, and teams have been asked to confirm participation no later than July 12 (Sunday). We are trying to be proactive so that once the city green lights organized league play we will be prepared to start quickly. Please review the information that was sent to all teams to determine if your team would like to participate in the Mini Season. Pitch In! Each week we will endeavor to feature the amazing people across Canada who have rolled up their sleeves and served their local causes. The Raphael Cha...ng Memorial Fund was established in memory of Raphael Chang, who tragically passed away early in 2014 just shy of his 43rd birthday. Raph grew up and lived in Toronto, he was a kind-hearted man who would do anything for you at a moment’s notice. His smile and sense of humour always lit up the room when he entered. He loved the outdoors, skiing, fishing, and most of all playing softball. With the assistance of Slo-Pitch National, twice annually since his passing, Raph’s friends join together to play in slo-pitch tournaments to honour and remember him. All money raised from these tournaments was donated to Canadian Tire Jumpstart, a charity he supported. The best way to honour the life of such a wonderful human is to donate to a cause in their honour; Canadian Tire Jumpstart is the perfect way to keep his memory alive. Please join us in remembering our friend, we miss him every day. In his honour children will be given the opportunities to play that they might not have otherwise. Attention All Centennial Teams! We are still hopeful to organize a revamped 2020 season. As of May 25, CSPL is planning to offer a "REDUCED" 2020 Season, consisting of 8 Weeks (16 Games) + Playoffs. Starting Mon JUL 6/2020, at a pro rated 2020 Fee, approx 60% of 2020 Full season fee....
