Peer Support is based on the belief th...at people who have recovered from an eating disorder (whether formally diagnosed or self-identified) are uniquely able to help others find their own path to recovery. Central Cape Breton County CHB is seeking volunteer applicants! Come and join a group of folks who are committed to community health. The board has partnered with community groups, such as the Baille Ard Trail Association. The CHB helped advocate for preservation of the trail. We also hosted a community conversation about basic income, and advocated for ongoing community supports during COVID-19. Central Cape Breton County includes Sydney, Louisbourg, Marion Bridge, parts of the Mira River area, South Bar, Membertou, Coxheath, Westmount, and up to Irish Cove.
