The residents enjoyed the beautiful fall foliage on a van trip today. They had a Tim Horton’s stop along the way. Treats were courtesy of Inez Lyons’ family who donated gift cards.

The CNBNH is hosting a Tupperware fundraiser. 40% of all funds raised will go to the activity department to be used for items and activities for the residents. Attention Residents of Upper Miramichi Meals on Wheels is happening in our Community. If you fit into one of the catergories below you can receive 2 meals a we...ek - Tuesdays and Fridays are the delivery days. The meals are free and delivered to your home. The requirements are as follows Low Income (in receipt of GIS or income assistance) Isolated (lives alone or does not drive) Disability (physical or mental health concerns) Difficulty cooking meals If any of these apply to you and you wish to take part in this program please call Judy Ross at 369-8900 or the Rural Community Office at 369-9810

VISITATION AT THE NURSING HOME: At this time, we are continuing with activities to keep our residents entertained and active. We do not have the capacity to do in room visits. The weather is beautiful and we have a wonderful screen room that is perfect for visiting. Our commitment for maintaining resident health and safety is of the most importance. Following guidelines, we have 3 time slots per day, Monday through Friday and one time slot per day on Saturday and Sunday. P...lease call the nh for an appointment. There was an incident this evening at the nursing home involving our propane tank. The heat caused increased pressure and created a malfunction that required evacuation. The residents were safely and quickly evacuated. The fire department did a thorough investigation and residents have returned into the building. All are well. Many thanks to our staff for their quick thinking and those that came to help, to community members, ambulance, and the fire department.

It was the ladies turn in the afternoon They enjoyed a spa day with facials, manicure and pedicures! Finished off with cookies and tea!

We celebrated our Dads this morning and had a steak dinner (with baked potatoes and fiddleheads!) for lunch with private dining!
