Hi all, Central Cariboo Disposal would like to remind residents of William’s Lake that this upcoming Monday is a STAT HOLIDAY and residential pick up will NOT be collected. Collection days will ALL shift forward one day this week (and this week only) so, if your day is Monday, please put totes out Tuesday, and if your day is Tuesday, please put totes out Wednesday, etc. For our out of town customers who receive collection on Fridays, your collection day is still Friday. Central Cariboo Disposal is reminding residents that there will be no residential garbage pick up on Monday (Christmas Day) Normal residential pick up will be pushed back one day and will resume on Tuesday. Example, if your day is Wednesday, please have your tote out for Thursday. The same will apply for the week following New Year’s Day. Incidents at the Williams Lake site ranged from cutting a gate lock off, cutting a hole in the fence to gain access after hours, siphoning gas from site equipment, stealing tools and lights from a haul truck on site.

Landfill Update: Please be aware that the Watch Lake Landfill remains closed. Lone Butte and the Interlakes Landfills are open, operating under their normal schedules.

The Watch Lake landfill is within today's evacuation order and will be closed until further notice. Details about the evacuation order can be found on our Cariboo Regional District Emergency Operations Centre page.

Good morning everyone, here's the update for today, Wednesday, July 12,2017 All sites in William's Lake remain closed. 2 sites remain open in the 100 mile house region ... -Interlakes landfill -Watch Lake Landfill ONLY Garbage is accepted at these sites. Recycling is not being accepted at this time. As a gentle reminder to the users of unmanned transfer sites (Horsefly, Chimney lake, etc) As we are unable to reach these remote sites during this time, we ask that you do not add to the pile of garbage there, but rather hang on to your garbage until we can resume regular services. We thank you for your understanding during this difficult time
