Check out the Youth Music Makers Virtual Songwriting with Warren Frank of the Heaps! BGCKL is excited to be kicking off this 10-week program that focuses on songwriting and acoustic guitar for youth ages 12 to 18. The program will be virtual but there will be opportunities for some one-on-one, in-person meetings with participants for extra help. Additionally, while there is a cost to the program, we will be happy to provide financial assistance to anyone who may need it. I've attached the program flyer and application. Happy Thanksgiving! Congratulations to Mrs. MacEachern! She has been promoted to Principal! She will be working with staff and students in our Remote Learning School. Friday, October 9 is her last day with us. We’re thrilled for her and wish her the best in her new role. Coming to Central is Ms. Mulcaster. It’s been a terrific week here at Central Senior! We wore orange for Orange Shirt day, learning about residential schools and supporting truth and reconciliation. We kicked off a week of Terry Fox culminating in our run yesterday. On Monday we will find out the total number of laps we took around the track.
