It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Herb Dick, the chairman of the Winkler Food Cupboard. Herb’s smile & generous spirit will be missed greatly around the Food Cupboard & Central Station Our hearts go out to his family.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY Thomas!

Central Station Community Centre 05.11.2020

Today is our final volunteer position that we’re highlighting throughout the month of December! If you’ve been to, called or been around Central Station at all, you’ve likely interacted with one of our hosts. Our hosts are typically your first point of contact when you walk through the door and are so valuable to us as staff! They field questions, re-stock shine & share, help us stay organized, build relationships with clients and encourage staff. Thank you so much to our many hosts! Have you had a good experience with one of our hosts? This month we’re highlighting some of our many volunteer roles as a way of saying thank you and celebrating all of their hard work. We’d love to hear your stories of how CS volunteers have impacted you! DM or email [email protected]
