The Language in Lyrics project, directed by Dr. Heather Sparling, is releasing their index of Gaelic songs in Nova Scotia to the public. They are releasing a spreadsheet of one song source (e.g., publication, archival collection, recording, newspaper) every other Tuesday. Check it out!

"It was an emotional and powerful story to tell" -- Clifford Paul about the Kun'tewiktuk Project. Last year, Dr. Marcia Ostashewski worked with Membertou First Nation to tell the story of Membertou's forced relocation from the waterfront to their current location. The telling of the story involved documenting oral history and the re-enactment of the story in theatre, engaging young and old from across the community and across the generations.
