#CLEANSINGMONDAY Cleansing is a very important process to improve our health. There are different processes to cleanse once mind, body and soul. In yoga, through meditation you remove tension, which brings clarity of the mind. With pranayama you cleans the lungs and through yoga asana, you cleans different organs of the body. The Supta Pawanmukta Asana is one of the yoga posture, which massages the abdomen and digestive organs. Therefore, effective for the cleansing of the s...tomach. -First lie on your back and relax your body. -Then bend your right knee and bring the thigh to the chest. -Interlock the fingers and clasp the hands on the shin just below the right knee. -Keep the left leg straight and on the ground. -Inhale deeply, filling the lungs and shoulders off the ground and without straining bring the right knee to the nose. -Remain in the final position for a few seconds. -While slowly inhaling, return to the original position. -Relax the body. -Repeat 3 times with the right leg and then 3 times with the left legs. * You can do also with both legs together. #FreshnessFriday Food is one of the source to keep your self healthy but how to eat is another way of being healthy. According to Ayurveda, drinking water during eating should be avoided. The reason is that when you eat, the stomach stores juices that help us in digestion. When we drink water during eating, the juices that are produced by our stomach will become diluted and as result food will take longer time to digest. This will also cause the digestive system to work ha...rder in order to break down the food. In addition, it will cause deposit of fat in the body because of the undigested food. The best way to avoid this is have water half an hour before eating the food. This way during eating one will not feel like drinking water. #CLEANINGMONDAY There are different ways of cleansing one self, one of the ways is through MUDRA. "DETOXIFICATION/CLEANSING MUDRA" Detoxification is a holistic process and has to be done with some regularity. When we work with the soul and consciousness then a flood of healing will start.... This MUDRA is done with both hands. The thumbs on each hands are placed on the inner edge of the third joint of the ring finger and rest of the fingers in the hands are relaxed and extended. This MUDRA aids in detoxifying the system, which is very important because of accumulation of toxin both physically and emotionally. As the bee moves around the flowers it makes a humming sound and keep all its focus on the flowers.... This way when you do brahmari pranayama repeatedly, your mind will focus only on the sound and will not think or hear anything else. This will make your mind calmer.
