A research team at SickKids has created a new iPhone app for 12-18 year olds... with Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis (JIA) pain. The iCanCope Study provides a certificate showing community service up to 7 hours for all participants with completion of the study. In many provinces volunteer hours are required for high school graduation. This is a great way to get a head start and keep track of JIA symptoms, learn pain coping strategies, set personalized goals, and learn strategies to manage your illness from other young people who also have JIA.
