Venues across the country are lighting up their buildings red tonight to shine a light on an industry that has been dark for several months. We are joining them for #LightUpLive - A Day of Visibility for the live events community. #miltonon #EclaironsLesScenes

This evening we are participating in the Day of Visibility for the Live Event Community, which runs from an hour after sundown, coast to coast. #LightUpLive #EclaironsLesScenes draws attention to locations that have been primarily dark for over six months due to social distancing restrictions. We miss our FirstOntario Arts Centre Milton volunteers! Volunteers are an essential part of our success and it is a great opportunity for High School students to gain volunteer hours in a fun environment, while playing a vital role in reducing costs to maintain live entertainment and provide excellent customer assistance. Volunteers use their talents to help in many different capacities! Volunteers act as hosts for our events, scan your tickets, guide patrons to their seats, ...staff coat check, bartend and sell merchandise. Volunteers are responsible for ensuring that our audience members feel welcomed and that they have an enjoyable, comfortable experience in a safe environment. Volunteers share in the joy of watching performances, the comradery of meeting new friends, and the excitement of sharing live theatre with our patrons. We are still connecting virtually on Thursday's to catch up. We look forward to having them back in the future!
