Centsible Car & Truck Rentals back as the official rental company of Targa Targa Newfoundland is proud to announce that it will once again use the cars and vans... of Centsible Car & Truck Rentals, to transport specific teams of volunteers and race officials and their equipment for the 14th annual Targa road rally this September. The partnership began last year with Centsible Car & Truck Rentals and will continue this year with the use of several makes of sedan, hatchbacks, and vans. Each vehicle will be assigned to a specific volunteer team of Targa, each with their own duties and special assignments that will utilize each vehicle to its maximum potential. Command Centre and Incident Response will each be assigned vans; Set-Up Teams will have hatchbacks; while other teams will use sedans. Derek Thomas, General Manager of Centsible Car & Truck Rentals, is looking forward to having the Centsible vehicles out on the road in September with Targa and believes the partnership is a positive for the company. Targa is a professional motorsports event and we really like how the volunteers use our vehicles to represent that fact while performing their tasks. We had a great experience with Targa last year and didn’t hesitate to continue being a partner with them in 2015. The annual rally will cover more than 1,600 kilometers of the challenging, twisty roads of the central and eastern portion of Newfoundland, including over 440 kilometers of closed-road, flat-out Targa stages.
