Along with regular cross-border commuters, they are now expected to stay at home unless they are utilizing curbside pickup or delivery for essential services. There have been reports that some customs officials are requesting drivers to download the ArriveCan app in order to cross the border and there are rumors Customs may start enforcing this starting Monday, February 22, 2021. The past 7 years, Centurion Trucking Inc. has been working with the Surrey Food Bank to support our local community with annual events and volunteer time. This year, due to the pandemic, we were unable to host our annual Seniors Pizza day at the Surrey Food Bank. Instead, we came up with a different answer to still give back to our community while keeping each other safe: We will be holding a food drive next weekend and we will be collecting non-perishable food items an...d cash donations! When: Saturday, November 7th, 2020 from 10AM to 4PM Where: Superstore located at 7550 King George Blvd (In front of the parking lot closest to King George Boulevard) How: Drive thru contactless to drop off your donations! In response to the COVID pandemic, this past weekend we tried something different with the Food Bank: A contactless drive-thru Food Drive. However, it did not work out the way we envisioned it to be. Instead, we had to resort to the old school hustle of standing in front of the grocery store as a group with boxes for people to donate towards those in need. I am hoping these drive-thru food drives will catch on in the future. An abundance of positive response was received from... this hustle. Many people opened their hearts to donate food and cash to the cause. I wanted to say thank you to everyone that participated in the food drive and to those who donated so generously. Your donations are going to be able to feed hundreds of families in the short-term. Many charitable organizations are facing a shortage in donations this year and your contributions will definitely be appreciated by those who receive it. Despite the fact that the pandemic affects everyone, It takes tremendous courage and a big heart to share at this time, and I truly admire that. I would also like to thank the Superstore on 76 and King George in Surrey for allowing us to use their parking lot to collect donations. Furthermore, I would like to thank the Surrey Food Bank for the partnership in conducting the Food Drive. "May God bless all of our communities, bless all of those who open their hearts to help others, and bless all those who are in need."

Over 70,000 kids have gone through the KIDS play Foundation programs since 2015 to now. There’s been over 500 volunteers with over 20 of the volunteers becoming police officers within our communities. This is why the Trucking Community got together at Aria Banquet Hall over the weekend to support our Youth and the programs that will make our communities better. A truck show was held and funds were collected for the KIDS play foundation. Here’s a few highlights from the Truck Show held in Surrey, BC in support of the KIDS PLAY Foundation.
