The Evangelical Order of Certified Pastoral Counsellors of America is a chartered organization holding Federal Letters of Patent mandated by the Government of Canada. It is dedicated to promoting and certifying professional standards for Psychotherapists, Counsellors and Pastors practicing from a faith-based, biblical, Judeo-Christian perspective. The purpose of our Order in part as being: 1. To establish, maintain and encourage, by all available means, the provision of indiv...iduals, marriage and group counselling and psychotherapy from Christian perspective. 2. To establish Modular Studies for the training of Counsellors. To determine suitable standards of competence and training for Counsellors and arrange for appropriate certification and credentialing thereof. 3. To provide direct counselling services to the public by means of clinics, training or information programs and to conduct research. See more
