According to many historians, the maple leaf began to serve as a Canadian symbol as early as 1700.

And the Autumn is here... The first trees around to change the color of its leaves...

This is Capilano Lake, a man made lake created when the Cleveland Dam was built. 40% of drinking water for Greater Vancouver is coming from this reservoir.
