Mr. Byron Hill, an atheist and a co-founder of the CFIC-Victoria, is a successful businessman originally from Kamloops, B.C. Owned several businesses in Canada. Largest was a chain of 38 video stores across Canada Superior Video sold out in 1996 to a large American publicly traded company. Rebuilt to 25 stores and sold out again to another American publicly traded company in 2002. After visiting Mexico since 1990 , moved to Los Cabos BCS, Mexico in 1998. Lived there full time for 8 years, becoming a Mexican citizen. While in Mexico owned and operated a trailer park and a restaurant and bar on the beach. ( a truly Canadian Dream) Built and developed a 70 unit condominium project , started and ran two restaurants , opened and ran a Mexican on line radio station XPATRADIO.MX. Byron and wife Pat have travelled extensively in Mexico visiting 19 of 31 states. They still maintain a home there and live in the country for 6 months per year. See more
