Wanted to highlight the importance of real estate investing... When you look at the stock market right now, it is 1999 all over again.. Share prices (especially... of the tech companies) are on the rise almost on a daily basis and most people already forgot the March 2020 crash. Not saying there will be another crash but if it will happen - it could be painful. Take a look at the chart below, it is of Microsoft. In 1999 it reached the intraday price of $59.56 and then the crash of 2000 came. It took Microsoft no less than 17 years to reach that price again. 17 years! And that was a world leading and profit making company. Can you afford to wait that long if the history repeats itself? Of course, after reaching that price in 2016 MSFT is now trading at $218, only 4 years later... You get the picture. So remember this: always diversify and slow and steady often wins. Hope you keep that example in mind every time you receive your monthly check from a rental property... Happy investing!
