2021 Winter Programs | Start dates pushed back to later in January As we head into a new year, the health and safety of our members, users and staff continue to be our top priority. With that in mind, we are pushing back the start of our Winter 2021 programming season. It will now start as of January 23rd, 2021. We’re very excited the Province has announced recreation facilities can reopen on Monday, December 21st, 2020. Because of our existing protocols, there aren’t many changes we need to make to our schedules and activities, but we will be working through those details tomorrow. After we make the necessary adjustments and update our website, we will reactivate online advanced booking of activities as of 6am on Friday, December 18th. If you need help booking on Friday, our Customer Service Desk will be available by phone at 902.490.2400 ext. 7 from 6am-4:30pm.

Update (Nov. 8th, 10am): We have been in contact with Public Health directly regarding the potential exposure at CGC. The individual visited the Fitness Centre on Monday, November 2nd, 2020 between 10:30am-11:30am. The individual followed all CGC protocols including wearing a mask to and from the Fitness Centre, wiping down equipment, and social distancing while exercising. The individual only visited the Fitness Centre and did not visit any other rooms or exercise spaces in ...the CGC. The potential exposure is considered low-risk. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This evening (Saturday, November 7th, 2020, 7pm) Public Health posted a notice regarding the potential exposure of COVID-19 in our facility on Monday, November 2nd, 2020 between 9:30am-12:30pm. Due to Post Tropical Storm Teddy’s potential impact to the area, we are closing at 6pm tonight (Tues., Sept. 22) and will delay opening tomorrow (Wed., Sept. 23) to 11am. We will re-evaluate at 9am; those with affected bookings will be notified via email. Stay dry and safe!

September 8th, 2020 We were notified by Public Health regarding the potential exposure of COVID-19 in our Fitness Centre from August 28th-30th (10am-1pm) and August 31st-September 1st (5pm-8pm).
