As numbers of COVID-19 are slowly increasing in our areas, this is perfect time to ensure that we all take proper precautions/cleaning to ensure everyone's safety. I will be enforcing the proper wearing of face masks during the treatment. This means: *Masks must remain fully on during the entire duration of your treatment. *Fully on means that your mask covers your chin, mouth and nose at all times. There will be no pulling the mask down to expose your nose and/or mouth whe...n you are prone on the table (face down) *If a mask isn't fully on during your treatment, the treatment will be terminated immediately at full fee. *If you are having difficulties breathing during your treatment, please let me know. We have options to help make it more comfortable for you to receive your treatment while maintaining your mask on. *Taking the mask off during your treatment is not an option at this time. We have guidelines that allow us to assess the risk as to whether we decide to treat a client who can not wear a mask. At this time, due to high risk individuals in my immediate family, I will not be accepting clients that can not wear their masks during treatment. If you have any questions or concerns, please let me know.

With all the technology that we have surrounding us on a daily basis, I've decided to take a step back in time and revisit the good ol' days. As many of you know, due to COVID-19 and all the new requirements and procedures, things have changed in the clinic. One of those is the loss of the use of the heating pad as I can not wash/disinfect it between clients. Many of you are missing it, especially with the cooler weather approaching, but I have found a solution!! Old school hot water bottles!?! Not quite the same intensity or durarion of heat, but it's the best solution that I could find that meets all the requirements. So if you would like to revisit the nostalgia of this simple tool or try it for the first time, just let me know at the start of your appointment and I will get it ready for you.

We have now entered into Stage 3 of the reopening of the province. Please be aware that nothing has changed on my end; all cleaning protocols and documentations have remained in place. I do ask one thing of you, as my clients: Please answer the screening questions honestly and your mask must remain fully on your face (covering of your mouth and nose) at all times during the treatment. If you are having a difficult time breathing, let me know and we will modify your positioning on the table. The removal of the mask is not an option. Happy Friday!!! It's been over one month that I have been back to work, and I have never cleaned so much in my life!?! I want to reassure you that the entire treatment room is fully disinfected between every single client, and the common areas are cleaned regularly throughout the day. I give myself 45 minutes to ensure that I have sufficient time to ensure proper and effective cleaning, and if you have any questions or concerns, do not hesitate to reach out. I will gladly answer any and all questions that you may have. Until then...enjoy a little humor :)
